The Poles have unlocked all checkpoints on the border with Ukraine — DPSU

As of today, April 29, the Poles have unblocked all checkpoints on the border with Ukraine. This was reported by the State Border Service.

As noted, Polish farmers have stopped actions to block the movement of freight vehicles in front of the checkpoint "Grebenne - Rava-Ruska". Registration and passage of trucks across the border in two directions is carried out as usual.

At the same time, trucks transporting grain crops will not be allowed to enter Poland. This type of cargo can be transported on the territory of Poland only in transit mode.

"For the time being, there is no accumulation of trucks on the part of the neighboring state, heavy trucks leaving Ukraine follow the e-Queue," added the DPSU.

Minister of Agricultural Policy Mykola Solsky thanked his Polish colleagues for their productive work.

"We express our gratitude to the Polish Ministry for constructive work on unblocking the border. And also to industry associations of both countries. The ongoing negotiations were not easy, but the main thing is that we have a result, "said the minister.

Negotiations between ministries and associations will continue in the future. The parties agreed to exchange figures on the transit of agricultural products every month in order to monitor the situation. The next meeting of the Ministers of Agriculture of Ukraine and Poland is scheduled for May 7, where they will discuss the terms of cooperation in the summer.
